Top Ten Vault Release Recommendations for Dead.Net/Rhino |
Look:
It’s well understood that the steering committee at Dead.net/Rhino could use some positive input regarding “new releases”. We choose to hang out here at IA for two reasons; extensive library and free admission.
If we can influence the powers-that-be at Dead.net/Rhino, what would be your Top Ten Recommendations for Vault Releases, Audio & Video?
Peace age.

Re: Top Ten Vault Release Recommendations for Dead.Net/Rhino |
This could get real personalized real fast. I mean, geez, there are so many good ones that have been released and I tend to be partial to ones I saw or have listened to closely and heard the "It" we are always looking for.
I think 7/17/76 has "It" crawling all over it and need the treatment.
I would love to hear a good recording of 4/26/77. The show is amazing but the sound quality su-ucks. (say that is a really high voice and it will make sense).
10/25/69 has an amazing Dark Star but I'd have to go with 6/24/70 also now thst my eyes have been opened by Micah.
Anchorage 1980 was a good one, 6/20 I believe.
Merriweather 6/20/83 would be one of the most fantastic shows to release just because of it's shear presence of "IT" and Bob Star.
5/3/72 is one that MUST be released if it is not already. Not sure on that one.
10/1/94. There, I said it. It's good and I mean really good. Just for the late in the career factor and that it is really, really good.
I think a Hampton Box set would round out my list. Just all of 'em. They were hot.
There are more of course, but this starts my top-100 list.
